Erin developed her love for baking while working as a sous chef under Chef Robert Citto at The Vista Verde Guest Ranch in Colorado where she oversaw all the desserts and breads for the resort. She returned to Austin to attend The Cordon Bleu Cooking School and graduated in 2009.
After graduation she applied to Amy’s Ice Creams in the catering and product development departments where she was hired by and worked closely with Paula Kulp, Product Designer. Erin was responsible for adding many signature homemade ingredients to the super premium ice cream production and developed the ice cream cake department at Amy’s, which grew to $100,000 in sales it’s first year.
Erin was an easy choice for Bakery Partner when the creation and production of homemade sweets began to outgrow the ice cream production facility. She wrote the Baked by Amy’s business plan and developed the product selections along with a carefully chosen team of talented designers and bakers.
